Herding Cats

January 6, 2011

Look, Wendy!  Now I get it!  Ain’t a feeling in the world!

After reading PlaneJaner’s blog this morning and enjoying all the comments over my never-ending cup of coffee, I had to google.  Jevcat  mentioned the Herding Cats commercial aired in the 2006 Superbowl, I had to see it.  I’m a googleholic and can’t pass up a chance to discover something I don’t know about – just like in Jane’s google ad, but not quite so life changing.  So here it is!

I love it, Nancy…thanks for the shoutout! Yup…that’s my life (without the horses, the cats, and the cute cowboys!).

    Love,
    Wendy

Thanks for posting — I haven’t seen it in a while (it is the only commercial I ever recorded, but I did so on VHS … ) but it’s still just as funny — although I think you have to be a cat person to enjoy it most fully (which I am — in my blog I’ve even been working my way through an occasional series of bios of cats I’ve lived with!).

Actually, here’s another favorite, Goodyear’s “Are we there yet?” commercial from 2002: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khh6mqNWXjs

Love the Herding Cats. I herd my new kitten every day. It is exhausting and, oh yeah no handsome hunky cowboys. Man, I need to make a few changes, huh?

I’m so glad you have a new kitten to herd. My oldest is sitting in my lap now drooling all over me and the keyboard! P.S. Everyone needs a hunk cowboy! Just pick one out and lust! Nancy
