Eye Candy for Your Soul

After writing my morning pages, meditating and reading a little, I still couldn’t let go of something that woke me up too early this morning. The morning pages helped me sort, the meditating helped me settle into That Which is with me always, and the reading (Julia Cameron) focused me on being positive. The most positive action I knew to take was to grab my camera and my jacket and set out to photograph spring! Here it is — eye candy for your soul.

Embracing Myself 
Eye candy, indeed! The daffodil photos take my breath away, but the seedling picture warms my heart. Gardening is such a faith venture! Thanks for the beautiful images.

Thanks, Jennifer, for your comments. It was PlanerJane that got me to thinking about these tiny seedlings as my own little children and I thrill everytime I see a sprout. I feel like one of those storyteller dolls with thousands of children crawling all over her!!! Yes, it is a faith venture and adventure, and SUCH a blessing to me.

Jane, please don’t miss my reply to Jennifer. I’m still in OKC waiting for a plane to come back. I can’t wait to publish the rest of my spring pictures. I love the wide open spaces of Idaho. It’s a good breathing place. I’m thankful to be there. And I’m most happy to have soul friends like you and the other women that write and touch me with your and their beauty. I’m rich indeed!

I am so jealous of your beautiful flowers. I had hope to have bulbs in the ground in time for this year, but like the last four years, time got away from me again. I will plant some annuals again this year in the hopes that I can get them in this fall.
I grew up in apartments so I just discovered the love that is gardening last year. You and Jane make me just itch to get out and play in my garden and try to make it one tenth as pretty.

You’d be surprised at my gardening ability. These pictures come to you thanks to my wonderful camera that pulled the flowers out of their refuse and weeds. I actually had to break away the dead citronella stems so we could see Petticoat and the Twins. I also cropped away a bunch of junk. I hate to admit that beauty sometimes can be artificially presented, but it is always in the eye of the beholder! Now you go away and think of how much beauty you saw in those flowers and turn it right back on yourself, beautiful lady!!!!
